Get Involved
There are many
ways that you can be involved in the life changing work that
takes place at Michindoh Conference Center. Each year over
20,000 youth and adults attend camps, programs, or events at
Michindoh. For many there stay at Michindoh will be a
point in time that they will look back at for the rest of their
lives. For thousands of individuals Michindoh is the place
where the direction of their lives was set in stone, where they
made that commitment, where they were introduced to God's love.
Michindoh
celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2010, and is a ministry that
has been made possible by the faithfulness and generosity of
many people throughout these 100 years. As we look to the
future we trust that more will step forward and choose to invest
their lives in this ministry that has impacted so many.

Volunteer
Throughout the year we have many individuals who volunteer at
Michindoh. Some of our volunteers are retirees who bring
their RVs and park them at Michindoh during a special project,
some are church or youth groups looking for a service project.
Whether you are young, old or anywhere in between you could use
your talents and gifts at Michindoh.
Invest
Every year hundreds of children make a public confession of
faith in Christ at Michindoh. Many of these children come
back year after year and continue to grow in their faith and
even join our ministry team as teens or young adults.
Studies have shown that more than 80% of people who profess
Christ took that step of faith as a child. Camping ministry has
proven to be an extremely effective tool for reaching children
with the gospel. Each year we receive numerous requests
for scholarships from families that cannot afford to send their
children to camp. In 2010, over $10,000 was provided in
scholarships for our regular camps, only a small percentage of
those scholarships were funded. Besides those
scholarships, Michindoh subsidized special camps to reach the
unchurched camper in the sum of over $45,000, providing a full
session of Christian camping for $90 or about a third of the
cost of camp. In all, close to $70,000 was provided to
campers in the form of scholarships, subsidized programs, and
discounts, to make Christian camping available to as many
children as possible.
As you can
imagine, it is becoming increasingly difficult to provide these
scholarships and special subsidized programs. If God has
blessed you with extra, please consider making a special gift
towards our scholarship fund. It could make an eternal
difference in the life of a child. A gift in any amount
would be appreciated.
